Police Chief ignores open carry laws

This may be the most irritating thing I have read in awhile and I’ve been reading a bunch of crazy stuff just like the rest of you.
What gives this police chief the right to ignore the law and harass innocent people? I think the people of his town should all get their guns on and stand out side of the police station (provided their aren’t loitering laws). Force the chiefs hand and when he does something stupid sue the city to get him fired.
As the police chief I expect him to follow the law not break it.

That police chief needs to go – ASAP. He has this bizarre idea that the law does not apply, or matter, until or unless HE says it does. He’s too corrupt to stay, and I would be willing to wager pretty much anything that this is not the only rotten thing he’s been up to during the course of his career. What else is he doing to hurt the citizens he’s allegedly serving?
